Meet Chef Alexis Knecht

His storied career started 1999 as a trainee and moved up the ladder at the age of 16 at a local restaurant in France, L'Auberge de Lisala that featured local and regional specialties. He is influenced by legendary culinary maestros like Joel Robuchon, Paul Bocuse and Pierre Gagnaire.
 
He now serves as the Chef de Cuisine for La Table Krug and Go Bistro at the Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, where he cultivates a menu that's quintessential, making every bite awaken both the palate and mind.

Born in Paris, France, Lejard began expressing himself as a street artist at an early age, primarily influenced by legendary painter Jackson Pollock. At 16 he became a chef and began utilizing food as a means of artistic expression, birthing his signature style of "splattering" sauce on the plate. He is considered by foodies and food critics everywhere to be a disruptor on the food scene and a master of his craft.
